Getting started
Promotion Case is available for iPhone in the United States and is intended for adults 18 and older. Download the current Career Compass app from the U.S. App Store, then complete your role and pay setup.
Making the purchase available
Approve at least one Evidence example in each of the five Case Check areas: results, teamwork, leadership, bigger responsibilities and strategic impact. Each example is assigned to one area.
One example per area is enough once the required role and pay setup is complete. If the purchase option isn't available, check for missing setup and areas that still need an approved example.
Using AI
You can save Evidence without AI drafting. If you ask for AI help, review the proposed language and make sure it accurately describes your contribution before approving it.
Preparation of the purchased Promotion Case and Conversation Guide requires separate AI authorization. The app explains the provider before you proceed.
What the purchase includes
The Promotion Case purchase is $24.99 in the U.S. and covers one case per account. It includes two PDFs: a manager-facing Promotion Case and a private Conversation Guide. Review the offer and price in the app before buying.
You review the documents in the app and make supported edits before approving email delivery. The purchase is not a subscription and does not promise a promotion or raise.
Restoring access
Restoring a purchase restores access to the existing case. It does not create a second case. If your completed purchase isn't available, use the app's restore option and contact support if the problem continues.
Do not purchase again just to troubleshoot access to a case you already bought.
Reviewing and receiving your PDFs
After preparation, review both documents in the app. Check that the wording reflects your work, make supported edits, and approve delivery to your chosen email address.
If the email doesn't appear, check the selected address and your spam or junk folder. Contact support if you still cannot find it. Keep the Conversation Guide for your preparation; share the Promotion Case when you decide you're ready.
Understanding Pay Position
Pay Position is an estimate based on published U.S. sources. An occupation comparison and an age-adjusted national comparison answer different questions; the app labels which context is being used.
